Dr. Joan Rosenberg graduated from New York University School of Education with a Bachelors and Masters Degree and from Columbia University Teachers College with a Doctor of Education. She became a teacher, guidance counselor, and administrator for the New York City Department of Education for more than twenty-five years. Presently, Dr. Rosenberg is the Director of Programs in Special Education at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology.  Dr. Rosenberg's vision includes effective problem-solving techniques for children with disabilities as well as strategies and techniques to help future teachers become reflective practitioners, with a deep commitment for inclusion, mutual respect as well as an acute awareness that all children can learn.
